Description :Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed process designsPerform process simulations using engineering softwareCreate and revise process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)Prepare and update equipment datasheets and line listsAssist with the sizing and specification of equipment, valves, and instrumentationSupport in the development of control narratives and cause-and-effect diagramsParticipate in HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviewsCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on project proposals and deliverablesEnsure that all work complies with company standards and industry codesLiaise with project managers and clients as requiredQualifications:Completion of a 2–3 year post-secondary diploma in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering technology1–3 years of experience in an industrial, oil & gas, or process engineering environment preferredProficient with engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, or similarStrong understanding of P&IDs, equipment design, and control systemsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsEnrollment in ASET or eligibility considered an assetWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities:Fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesOccasional field or shop visitsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projectsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefitsOpportunities for professional growthA collaborative and innovative team environmentOn-site parking and modern facilities in Airdrie, AB
