Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and success-driven Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a short-term opportunity lasting 2-3 weeks, ideal for someone with a strong administrative background.Responsibilities:
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages, arranging for couriers as required.
  • Facilitate the booking of boardrooms and meeting spaces upon staff requests.
  • Manage the initial invoicing process before forwarding it through the appropriate system.
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls and taking messages as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to records and documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of meeting details.
  • Handle email correspondence efficiently, responding to and forwarding messages as required.
  • Assist with general office duties to support administrative operations.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • A detail-oriented, friendly, and success-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in handling a multi-line phone system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
