
Parts Representative

- Responsible for day-to-day processing of parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering and expediting purchase orders
- Support service technicians in researching, sourcing, expediting and delivering parts requests to work area
- Works with customers in person, via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship on the phone order desk and front counter parts sales
- Produces accurate, timely and efficient estimates and documentation for all parts transactions
- Covers and/or assists warehouse person in tracking or shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers and inter-branch locations
- Initiates parts returns for both new and warranty items and completes all required documentation
- Operates in a safe manner and keeps work area clean and tidy at all times
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant Trade Designation and/or enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program
- Work Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in heavy duty Truck parts / service industry considered an asset.
- Knowledge: Experience working with parts vendors, outsourcing and generating parts quotes
- Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
