Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Lead change management initiatives during periods of growth and transformation.
- Oversee talent acquisition strategy to attract top creative, operational, and corporate talent.
- Strengthen employer brand and employee value proposition.
- Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and organizational development strategies that support a strong and values-driven workplace culture.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba Employment Standards and applicable federal legislation.
- Oversee policy development, workplace investigations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead compensation and benefits strategy to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Oversee performance management frameworks and leadership development initiatives.
- Partner with Finance on workforce budgeting and planning.
- Provide leadership to the HR team.
- Manage and approve payroll processes ensuring appropriate controls and accuracy.
- Manage HR systems, reporting, and metrics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes.
- Implement Human Resources operations, processes and systems to cater to retail growth of the company
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Experience in retail, apparel, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- CPHR designation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Manitoba employment legislation.
- Proven experience leading organizational change and culture transformation.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and executive presence.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
- $110k to $130k base salary
