
Manager Financial Reporting

- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other applicable standards.
- Lead the management discussion and analysis (MD& A) process, providing valuable insights to support organizational decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor a small team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting activities.
- Coordinate audit processes, including the preparation and review of working papers and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Oversee budgeting and variance analysis, offering recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of internal management reports.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide leadership in the preparation of fair value assessments and other complex accounting analyses.
- Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) with a strong foundation in financial reporting and attention to detail.
- Extensive experience in public accounting or a similar role within a complex, multi-entity environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and its application in financial reporting.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
