Job SummaryWe are a leading global Security Tech company pivotal in shaping industry standards looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement within the Shared Services Center North America to lead our Indirect Procurement services and implement best practices across the region.This role is pivotal in transforming the existing procurement structure to incorporate indirect procurement into the Shared Services Center portfolio. It guarantees alignment with strategic objectives and improves service delivery throughout the organization. Entrusted with guiding a dynamic team, the person in this capacity will be instrumental in refining indirect procurement processes and delivering consistent, high-quality support across multiple legal entities in the strategically important regions of the USA and Canada. This position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of driving significant improvements and committed to achieving excellence in procurement processes.If you are a procurement professional with a passion for service excellence and a hands on mentality we encourage you to apply.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the North American indirect procurement shared services team of 2 professionals, ensuring high-quality standards and operational excellence while managing budget and resources thoughtfullyDesign and implement a shared services model and service level agreements to ensure reliable and premium quality services, efficiently handling all demands using SAP, SRM and Ivalua toolsDevelop procurement strategies that align with the operational requirements of the North American region and coordinate globally with other units within G+DLead the development and execution of comprehensive category strategies based on business needs, market trends, and supplier insightsIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and ensure supply security and innovation at the regional level through volume bundling and economies of scaleAct as the primary liaison for sourcing activities, championing alignment between procurement goals and stakeholder prioritiesConduct competitive market analyses to inform decisions, anticipate risks, and drive continuous improvementApply advanced sourcing practices and techniques to drive enterprise value.Continuously evaluate and review own processes, initiating improvements through the implementation of advanced technologies or methods in close coordination with IT experts to keep procurement processes modern, economical, and competitiveCollaborate with other departments including Finance and IT to co-create innovative procurement services that meet organizational and business needsLead, motivate, and develop the indirect procurement team to promote a culture of high performance and continuous developmentEstablish a reporting landscape with meaningful KPIs in G+D's data environment in alignment with the global procurement excellence teamEnsure compliance with current company-wide guidelines such as the Corporate Purchasing Guideline and utilize globally designated toolsQualifications, Experience and Educational RequirementsWork Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a Procurement Shared Services or similar organizationSkills and Competencies:Expert knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management processes and best practicesDemonstration of trustworthiness and professionalism when dealing with suppliers and team membersDemonstration of the ability to manage a network of interconnected businesses and processes involved in the provision of products and servicesExceptional leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, consulting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentProactive team player with the ability to motivate others to excellent performanceHigh customer service and process orientationEntrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumenSkilled in establishing and maintaining continuous improvement principlesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business, or related fieldAdditional Information*This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
