
R & A Systems Engineering Co op

- Generate and revise systems engineering documentation, such as specifications, interface control documents, statements of work, schematics using our change control process
- Develop, document and execute detailed test procedures for hardware and software functionality
- Write thorough reports documenting the results of those tests as well as those performed by others
- Organize, coordinate and track compliance status of requirement verification activities
- Occasionally use electronic equipment such as digital oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Support Bids & Proposals activities with technical queries and compliance matrices
- Occasionally perform functional tests on products in laboratory
- Excellent report writing skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to work with many engineers to coordinate interdepartmental efforts
- Good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical aspects of Engineering
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems, optic or laser devices is an asset but not required
- Able to problem solve and make consistent progress on tasks independently
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Advanced degree in Engineering or Science program
- Must be able to complete a 16 month Co-Op term starting May 2026
