- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process).
- Experience with one common scripting or coding language (e.g., Python, shell scripting).
- Experience with infrastructure systems, the scope and impact of the systems, and the underlying technology.
- Systems experience (e.g., Linux, Unix) or a similar operating system.
- Experience in software development in Java, C++, Python, Go or production software system design.
- Understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, scalable storage solutions, software-defined networking, and storage services.
- Ability to execute technical projects at global scale, across multiple teams and time zones.
- Ability to innovate using technology to advance business goals.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and debugging skills with effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Understand and evaluate the scalability and reliability to ensure the technical leads are always a step ahead of customer demands.
- Identify and drive major product supportability efforts as the primary support interface into developer leadership.
- Own technical relationships with leaders in product development and site reliability development, in order to improve the customer experience.
- Collaborate with global teams.
