The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and innovation, resulting in streamlined workflows and boost operational efficiency. They will foster a culture of digital enablement, empowering teams to leverage technology confidently and effectively in their daily work. They will also help design and operationalize a structured data usage framework within Finance, using Power BI to drive consistent, insightful, and actionable reporting. Success in this role requires the ability to combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution.The ideal candidate brings a strong IT and data engineering background, with a solid understanding of finance processes and a passion for enabling teams through technology, data, and innovation.HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:Technology & Innovation EnablementChampioning the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics, to enhance finance operations, reporting, forecasting, and decision-makingProactively participate in the technical implementation of new tools and platforms, ensuring they meet finance requirements and are effectively integrated with existing systems.Partner with IT, Data, and business teams to evaluate and implement data and technology solutions and processes (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection)Stay current with emerging technologies and trends assessing their applicability to the finance department’s needsFinance Systems OwnershipLead the administration, configuration, and optimization of finance systems (e.g., Oracle ERP, planning tools, reporting platforms, treasury systems).Oversee system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements in partnership with IT, US parent, and external vendorsMaintain deep functional and technical knowledge of all finance systems, including data flows and integrationsDesign, write, and maintain SQL scripts, excel macros, and automation routines to streamline finance processesDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows and training materialsProvide training and support to finance users to ensure effective and consistent usage of systems and toolsMonitor system performance and user feedback, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and automationData Governance & ReportingDrive decisioning capabilities by supporting the design and development of dashboards, reports, and data models to enable self-service analytics and decision-makingCollaborate with the corporate data team to manage and evolve the finance data architecture, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systemsMap and document data flows from source systems into finance applications, identifying key transformation points and dependenciesPartner with cross-functional teams (IT, Data, US Parent) to improve data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes, driving efficiency and reliabilityTeam LeadershipLead and develop a small team of analysts/system specialistsBuild a community in finance that welcomes experimentation, innovation, and creative approaches to accomplish goals and deliver impactful outcomesHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:Education and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related technical field; a minor or experience in Finance is an added benefit8+ years of experience in finance systems, data engineering, or enterprise technology roles5+ years in a leadership role, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams or technology initiativesTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of data management practicesProficient in SQL (writing stored procedures, optimizing queries); advanced excel skills including VBA macro developmentHands-on experience with system integration testing, output validation, and issue resolutionStrong understanding of finance processes and systems;
