- Set and communicate clear goals for store teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives through bi-weekly manager meetings and weekly check-ins.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing Store Managers, overseeing associate hiring and succession planning.
- Conduct timely performance evaluations, recognizing achievements and addressing issues using company templates (e.g., Action Plans, Performance Improvement Plans).
- Resolve team conflicts professionally, ensuring fair documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Foster a culture of accountability and inclusivity, reflecting Stitch It’s mission, vision, and values.
- Achieve district sales targets through strategic marketing and partnerships with local retailers and businesses.
- Monitor and analyze weekly KPIs (Sales, Labor %, Average Sale, Google Reviews, Quality Metrics), developing action plans to optimize performance.
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Drive B2B and B2C sales growth, leveraging regional market insights to expand Stitch It’s presence.
- Ensure all stores adhere to company standards, including The One Stitch It Experience, cleanliness, and presentation, through quarterly visits (minimum 4/year).
- Train Store Managers on equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and vendor coordination, ensuring 100% compliance.
- Oversee inventory management and merchandising strategies to meet product sales goals.
- Support store openings, closings, and renovations, adhering to company timelines and providing frontline feedback.
- Enforce health and safety regulations across all stores, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Coach Store Managers to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Resolve customer and vendor issues efficiently, collaborating with the Customer Service team as needed.
- Monitor Google Reviews and customer feedback, maintaining a regional average rating of 4.5+.
- Represent Stitch It as a key regional leader, providing insights on market trends and opportunities to head office.
- Lead regional participation in company-wide initiatives and pilot programs.
- Serve as a backup for Store Managers when required.
- Travel regularly within Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB) with flexible hours aligned with store schedules.
- 7–10 years of experience in retail, sales, or service industries, with at least 3 years in district or multi-store management. (Alterations industry is an asset)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret KPIs, market trends, and financial data, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems (e.g., POS, scheduling tools).
- Commitment to Stitch It’s mission, vision, and values, with a passion for customer service and sustainability.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently within Western Canada.
