What you will do
- Establish and recommend strategic sourcing and procurement leading practices, based on a thorough assessment of the client organizations' performance gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Develop pragmatic roadmaps, focused on the realization of both monetary and more intangible efficiency gains.
- Support our clients in the development of a target operating model promoting a sound governance, continuous optimization of existing processes, and performance-based category management, within an adapted organizational structure, adequately supported by technology.
- Support our clients in the selection, implementation, preparation and configuration of their procurement system, as well as the optimization of their technology roadmap.
- Support and contribute to the training and development of a team of professionals in the successful achievement of the above.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent undergraduate degree combined with relevant work experience.
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, ideally in a bilingual environment.
- At least 5 to 8 years of consulting experience.
- Experience in business transformation, whether in terms of performance improvement, process review, drafting of governance documents and/or technology redesign.
- Experience, curiosity and interest in rapidly evolving procurement topics, such as sustainable sourcing and third-party risk management, among others.
- Knowledge of end-to-end procurement solutions (Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba or S4/HANA, etc.) would be an asset.
