- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams in the planning, design, and delivery of ports, terminals, and marine infrastructure projects.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Provide technical leadership in marine structural and geotechnical engineering, including container terminals, LNG and oil terminals, offshore wind facilities, and bulk material handling.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to manage project execution.
- Develop and implement innovative engineering and design solutions to address technical and operational challenges.
- Prepare technical documentation including designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.
- Support business development through technical input on proposals, participation in industry forums, and engagement with professional associations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Marine, or Coastal Engineering (or related discipline).
- 10+ years of relevant experience in ports and marine infrastructure, including design and project management.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license or eligible within 12 months or PMP or MBA
- Master's or Ph.D. in Geotechnical, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
- Proven track record of delivering complex marine infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
- Demonstrated expertise in marine structural design, geotechnical engineering, seismic analysis, and soil-structure interaction.
- Strong project management skills, including budget control, scheduling, risk management, and client interface.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to liaise effectively across disciplines and with external stakeholders.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising engineering teams.
- Board-Certified Port Engineer (BCPE) designation.
- Experience with LNG facilities, offshore wind foundations, and seismic design of marine terminals.
- Active participation in technical committees (e.g., ASCE/COPRI, PIANC, CSA).
- Published technical papers or contributions to industry standards.
- Business development experience, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- International project experience across diverse geographies.
