We are currently seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team.Position Overview: As a Drywall Finisher at ServiceMaster, you will be responsible for preparing drywall surfaces and applying finishes to achieve smooth and flawless walls and ceilings. Your expertise will contribute to the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that our projects meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to cover walls and ceilings.
  • Tape and apply joint compound to seams between drywall panels.
  • Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Sand surfaces to remove imperfections and ensure a smooth finish.
  • Repair and patch damaged drywall as needed.
  • Texture drywall surfaces to match existing textures or create new textures as required.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in drywall installation, taping, finishing, and texturing techniques.
  • Knowledge of different types of drywall materials and their applications.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy drywall sheets and equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Valid driver's license.
