Our Long-Haul Trucking Claims team is looking for someone just like you to jump in and make an impact!This offers the chance to play a crucial role in ensuring prompt and fair settlements for physical damage and cargo claims across Canada and the US. If this sounds like your kind of opportunity, we can’t wait to hear from you!What you'll do here:
  • Dive into both routine and complex claims, analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage and assess fair entitlements.
  • Engage in timely and respectful communication with customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and other insurers to effectively resolve claims.
  • Spearhead investigations and settlements of cargo and environmental losses, while managing cases that span across Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate with our Bodily Injury team on significant losses to mitigate exposure and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
What You bring to the table :
  • University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
  • CIP designation achieved or on the way.
  • At least 2 years of experience adjusting commercial auto claims; Long Haul Trucking experience is an asset.
  • Expertise in handling moderate to complex claims and practicing effective negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with decision-making prowess and excellent time management.
  • Knowledge of provincial legislation governing auto insurance; Atlantic Provincial Licenses are advantageous.
  • A warm, positive attitude complemented by top-notch customer service skills.
  • Atlantic Provincial Licenses an asset , must be willing to secure Atlantic provincial licenses
