Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada!Westcan is currently seeking a Professional Class 1 Driver to join our team for the Spring Season, with a focus on hauling Anhydrous Ammonia (NH3), Liquid and Dry Fertilizer, and other dry bulk commoditiesWork Schedule: NH3 and liquid fertilizer drivers assigned to excess hours permit - 13 days at federal HOS followed by 36-hours reset. Dry bulk drivers maximize federal hours of service working 70 hours and 36-hours reset.About the position:What you bring:

Class 1/AZ License with a minimum of 2 years of recent highway experience.
Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset;
Abstract considers past 3-5 years, depending on infraction.
Willingness to have respirator fit test for NH3 specific drivers (requires driver to be clean shaven).
The contract ranges for 3 to 5 weeks in duration. Willing to stay in the truck for that period.

Rate of Pay:WEEKLY WAGE GUARANTEE IN EFFECT!Training pay $28.50/hr, Base pay $30/hr.$300 paid per on-road reset.Completion Bonus in effect (Worked Minimum of 4 weeks on the contract and stay until released by the company).Primarily pulling Super-B tankers and some Triaxle and Tandem Trailers.Paid product training and certification.Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all employees.Seasonal drivers are provided return airfare OR mileage.Opportunity to extend to full-time or full-time rotational following successful seasonal contract.We have a strong culture of teamwork, with a balance of seriousness and fun.
