- Set and execute the vision for the department, leading a multidisciplinary team to surpass business goals and deliver measurable results.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our most valued clients, directly leading key relationships and ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-impact solutions.
- Partner closely with the Vancouver Branch Leader and other senior team members to align departmental objectives with regional and national priorities.
- Champion a high-performance culture by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Specialty Practice Leaders, Human Capital, Sales, and Growth teams to unlock new opportunities and drive market expansion.
- Oversee all aspects of business planning, sales strategy, and operational execution, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine performance, address challenges, and capitalize on emerging trends.

- 10+ years Commercial insurance and/or risk management experience
- 2+ years leading direct reports
- Experience and knowledge of risk management techniques beyond insurance policies is preferred.
- Have a sales cultured mentality
- Level II license required
- At least one of the following designations is preferred: CRM, CIP, FCIP and CAIB.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Very strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of challenging deadlines.
