Job Category: SG&ADegree Level: Two Years CollegeJob Description:Job Title: Systems CoordinatorJob SummaryResponsible for maintaining and improving the quality management systems within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all processes, procedures, and standards align with the company's quality policies and regulatory requirements. The Quality Systems Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, maintain documentation, and support audits to achieve high-quality production outcomes.Responsibility
  • Manage all phases of the Quality Management Systems audit program, including the planning, scheduling, preparing, auditing, reporting and follow up to closure to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the programs
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits, including customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Ensure audit findings are addressed through corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
  • Lead/Monitor and co-ordinate layered audits, identity gaps and report out to management.
  • Monitor and track Customer Performance and Customer Specific requirements on websites and provide status reports
  • Manage the Document Control Notice System as it pertains to the Quality Management System.
  • Keep records and delivers information to other departments
  • Keep track of Return Material Authorization (Customer Returns) and Non-Conforming Report (Supplier scrap) in scrap system and generate monthly report.
  • Assist in identifying strengths, weaknesses and training requirements of all personnel as related to the effective implementation and operation of these system
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • Certificate in quality management standards. (ie: Certified Quality Auditor, or Quality Engineer)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the manufacturing industry. (ie: ISO, TS, IATF, SPC etc.)
Required Skills/Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality systems coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently to provide professional guidance and oversight to inspection tasks and projects in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of using basic computer applications and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and quality management software.
  • Speak with managers and supervisors to explain the progress of jobs and to obtain instructions and tasks. Organize and lead meetings with employees.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Knowledge in gauging methods, calibration, and measurement system analysis. Understand testing and inspection requirements.
