Job Description:OverviewThis role is responsible for providing strategic leadership at the Quaker Peterborough Manufacturing Site through effective departmental management. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement across key performance metrics including safety, quality, capability development, equipment uptime, and cost efficiency. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and successful navigation of internal and external audits.What you can expect from us:

ResponsibilitiesSafety
  • Lead a strong safety culture through visible leadership.
  • Ensure completion of all annual safety initiatives (training, reporting, investigations, root cause analysis).
Quality
  • Drive execution of quality priorities with stakeholder alignment and visibility.
  • Ensure timely, accurate completion of hold and incident investigations with root cause analysis.
  • Analyze data to reduce consumer complaints.
Production
  • Achieve adherence/attainment targets by minimizing unplanned downtime.
  • Meet/exceed goals for salvage, overpack, and product destruction; intervene when off-track.
Culture
  • Support attendance management initiatives with key partners.
  • Foster a culture of accountability focused on safety and operational excellence.
Productivity
  • Drive team-led productivity projects.
  • Deliver on key financial metrics.
Innovation & Installations
  • Support new product launches and capital installations.
Shop Floor Engagement
  • Facilitate regular crew meetings to review performance metrics, address concerns, and communicate current objectives and expectations.
People Development
  • Coach and develop Manufacturing team members through ongoing formal and informal opportunities
  • Contribute to People Planning and talent development initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated superior organizational and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Supply Chain (Operations) experience
  • Ability to interact effectively with key internal stakeholders
  • Post Secondary Education required
