This position supports schools throughout Yukon with best instructional practices and curriculum and policy implementation.   • Successful completion of six years of academic/professional training including possession of a Master's Degree in Education
  • At least 6 years of experience as a teacher, administrator or education consultant in a K- 12 school environment.
  • Experience coaching, training, and mentoring school staff.
  • Experience incorporating First Nations cultures and traditions in curriculum, policy development and classroom instruction.
  • Experience developing curriculum is considered an asset.
  • Experience as a guidance counselor is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting secondary educators is considered an asset.
  • Experience teaching and/or supporting educational staff in a rural setting are considered an asset.
