Accountable for creating and leading process improvement across a specific product line. Responsible for collaborating with the product line management team globally to implement new business processes, create greater efficiencies and overall product value for the organization and customers. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Work closely with product management team to analyze critical business practices and identify efficiencies attainable through process alignment and/or improvement.
- Develop business change models by estimating current process capabilities, analyzing performance measures, identifying improvements and quantifying outcomes.
- Implement process improvements, deliver sustainable cost savings and efficiency improvements within product line.
- Identify and collaborate with appropriate resources to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process improvement roadmaps detailing the timing and priority of ongoing process improvement projects.
- Ensure that standard approaches to process design and improvement are deployed, as well as identifying as advancing and applying new tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years related work experience.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Knowledgeable of ISO guidelines, and applicable related government regulations and requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or a related discipline or equivalent combination of work experience and completion of the LDP Program.
- Credentials: Professional certification may be required in some areas.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- In-depth knowledge of all company products and services.
- Strong financial analytical skills with experience in performing quantitative statistical analysis, simulation models, and mathematical models.
- Proficient in the use of analytical techniques such as statistical probability distribution, correlation, data sampling and relating sets of numbers.
- PC literate. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Ability to generate error-free reports, charts, and graphs.
- Characteristics: Capable of identifying areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness and ability to identify and communicate potential operational or analytical concerns.
