- Own and execute the Canada expansion strategy: Build and execute a national roadmap focused on increasing our footprint while ensuring launch markets perform to expectations through rigorous marketplace management.
- Tactically run end-to-end execution: Lead the expansion lifecycle from initial strategy and buy-in through to execution, ensuring every launch is set up for long-term success.
- Right-size best practices: Apply proven operational frameworks while localizing strategies based on the specific marketplace dynamics of diverse Canadian cities.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between the expansion team and DoorDash's commercial units, surfacing insights and co-developing strategies that support national growth.
- Build strong internal relationships: Partner effectively with stakeholders across Dasher, Sales, Merchant, and Marketing teams to ensure a unified approach to marketplace health.
- Act like an Owner: Take full ownership of the success of our growth markets, with the autonomy to test, iterate, and scale what works across the country

- 4+ years of experience in business development, consulting, strategy, startups, or operations
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with commercial teams
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and lead strategic initiatives from conception to execution
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence across various stakeholders and levels of the organization
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL; comfortable making decisions grounded in data
