- Lead and manage operational projects and process improvement initiatives across the North American Life & Health Reinsurance Operations function.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of core processes.
- Apply business process improvement methodologies to analyze existing workflows and recommend practical, sustainable solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Operations, Technology, and other internal partners to deliver project objectives.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risks to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop clear project plans, status reporting, and dashboards to communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Translate operational challenges into actionable project plans and process improvement initiatives.
- Support the documentation and optimization of operational processes and workflows.
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and work with stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the operations organization.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in project management, business process improvement, or operational change roles.
- Experience delivering projects within financial services, insurance, reinsurance, or similarly regulated industries considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing projects from concept through implementation.
- Experience working closely with operational teams to improve processes and workflows.
- Strong project management discipline with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training considered an asset.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar BPI frameworks) considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions, gathering input, and aligning stakeholders on project outcomes.
- Ability to operate independently while managing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
