- As the Senior Pension Administrator, you will work in a team environment as part of Mercer’s pension administration Client services
- You will be part of a team of consultants, analysts, and administrators within Mercer’s Wealth Delivery practice to provide high quality administration service to a portfolio of clients, demonstrating outstanding and timely customer service in all dealings with client contacts

- Plan the calendar for deliverables
- Set priorities and coordinate projects while taking into account established deadlines
- Interpret and apply the provisions of the plans and the various applicable laws
- With the junior administrators, ensure benefits calculations and associated statements are produced (termination of employment, retirement, death, divorce, etc.)
- Update client database
- Produce annual member statements
- Calculate pension adjustments (PA), pension adjustments reversals (PAR) and past service pension adjustments (PSPA)
- Prepare Annual Information Returns
- Verify calculations produced by junior administrators
- Execute complex tasks (e.g.: flexible plans, executive plans, hybrid plans)
- Provide training and coaching to junior administrators
- Suggest process and tool improvements with a view to enhance team efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (actuarial sciences, mathematics, or administration)
- 3-5 years of experience in defined benefits pension administration
- Strong analytical and organization skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in teams, self-reliance, resourcefulness
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Proficient with MS-Office software programs
