- Jointly own and achieve Squad P&L targets, in collaboration with all Squad members.
- Plan, prioritize and execute in short-term (90-day cycles), mid-term and long-term cycles.
- Adapt, iterate, regularly reassess, and prioritize tasks to ensure continued progress towards Squad outcomes.
- Collaborate and co-create within Squad to ensure clarity of accountabilities to maximize customer focus.
- Leveraging digital tools and agronomic expertise position, support, and service the full Bayer portfolio of seed, crop protection and new business models, while also leveraging market intel and data insights to assess and prioritize opportunities.
- Contributing to effective team dynamics as a self-managing Squad, via activities such as peer recruitment, selection, and performance feedback.
- Foster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices ensuring Safety and Compliance requirements are met or exceeded within Squad.
- Collaborate with the broader Digital community to implement new product and increased value to local geography and customers
- Drive local demand and awareness of Bayer's digital tools and lead product expertise development across distribution channels.
- As a local digital product expert, enhance digital acumen of the Squad, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and digital revenue through solution selling using FieldView and New Business Models.
- Provide on-farm expertise to assist key customers in installing and troubleshooting Bayer's precision agriculture technologies, addressing data collection challenges, connectivity issues, and educating on Digital Farming Solutions.
- Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships, focusing on digital interactions such as sign-ups, onboarding, and engagement.
- Utilize Climate FieldView as a selling tool to showcase the value of Bayer Crop Science Seed & Trait + Crop Protection portfolio.
- BSc or Diploma in Agriculture or related discipline with minimum 2 years of experience
- Possess a PAg (RTAg) certification or eligible to attain
- Valid Canadian driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles safely
- Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket equipment monitors, GPS, auto guidance and farm management software (FMS)
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Strong interpersonal, team and communication skills - presentation, written, verbal and listening, to maximize results with customers and internal stakeholders
- Understands key customer needs to develop tailored solutions
- Experience using digital tools to manage, interpret and leverage data
- Understanding of local crop production, agronomy and seed and Crop Protection products
- Excellent problem solving through analytical thinking in complex situations with minimal guidance
- CCA or CCSC designation
- Advanced computer and database skills with ability to use MS Office Suite as well as other BCS Software (CRM, Tableau)
- Understanding the Bayer portfolio for seed, Crop Protection and the Fieldview platform
