
Finance Manager

- Lead finance operations for an acquired UK entity, including AP, AR, payroll tax, balance sheet reconciliations, and overall compliance.
- Ensure adherence to UK accounting rules (VAT, payroll, etc.), and IFRS standards.
- Supervise and manage a team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily financial operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reporting processes and tailor financial statements to meet local standards.
- Assist with ERP system integration across UK and Canadian operations.
- Experience: 5+ years in controllership or senior finance roles with expertise in UK accounting practices.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK compliance, including VAT, payroll rules, and quarterly reporting.
- Skills: ERP systems experience (SAGE, MS Dynamics, etc. preferred); strong process improvement capabilities.
- Soft Skills: Team player, proactive, and adaptable to cross-border collaboration.
