UI/UX Designer

• As a leader in digital investing solutions, client iTRADE, and client’s Wealth Management is focused on elevating the direct investing mobile experience, and we are looking for a talented designer to help drive this work forward.

• You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, and Content to ship high-impact work on one of the bank’s fastest-growing digital platforms.

• Play a pivotal role in advancing client’s Direct Investing for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, designers, content producers, and researchers to craft best-in-class experiences.
• Translate customer feedback, stakeholder insights, and analytics into actionable design improvements.
• Practice design thinking to tackle complex flows with simple, elegant solutions.
• Create clear design documentation: user flows, states, themes (light/dark), prototypes, accessibility annotations, and component specs.
• Contribute to and evolve our design foundations and system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and delivery efficiency.
• Use advanced skills in Figma (variants, auto-layout, tokens, libraries, prototyping) to bring concepts to life and collaborate efficiently.

• Mobile (iOS/Android)
• Leverage expertise in Android Material Design 3 and Apple’s iOS Human Interface Guidelines to craft intuitive, platform-native experiences.

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on complex products.
• Strong, demonstrated visual design/UI craftsmanship with production-ready deliverables.
• 2+ years of experience working within large product teams (Product, BSA, Engineering, QA, Design, Content, Research).
• 3+ years of Experience turning customer insights, research & analytics into validated design outcomes.
• 2+ years of Recent professional experience designing native iOS and Android apps (Android Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines fluency).

• Trading/Investing domain experience.
• Banking domain experience.
• Experience contributing to design systems (tokens, components, usage guidance).
• Onboarding domain experience

• Meticulous attention to detail; ability to find simple solutions to complex problems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable in workshops, critiques, and stakeholder reviews.
• A passion for translating insights and analytics into thoughtful, accessible design solutions.
• Ownership mindset with a customer-first focus.

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design
• Formal design education required (no UX bootcamp-only backgrounds)

• A strong individual contributor in Product Design with proven visual/UI excellence, a customer-centric approach, and the soft skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines. A strong portfolio is essential to demonstrate process, decision-making, and outcomes at scale.
