- Execute work plan using existing recipes, monitoring shrink
- Managing and scheduling support staff
- Order products and materials
- Clean and organize the kitchen. Follow all required checklists and cleaning schedules ensuring standards are maintained while observing all food safety rules and regulations.
- Adhere health and safety procedures
- Assist customers as required with meal planning ideas and other suggestions to drive customer loyalty
- Help train retail store associates on product including talking points to assist in delivering a world-class shopping experience.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- High school diploma and/or adequate math and English skills (oral, reading, writing) are required.
- Culinary education/management considered an asset.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commercial kitchen and retail store environment
- Working with refrigerated and frozen product
- Working with high heat sources
