NOW HIRING: Parts RunnerLOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth, Servicing Dartmouth Area, NSHOURS: Part-time, casual (Some flexibility may be required)COMPENSATION: $17.00 - $21.00/ hour (To be negotiated based on skill level/experience)THE PERFECT FIT:Centennial Carstar Dartmouth is seeking a reliable Parts Runner to help keep our shops running smoothly! In this role, you’ll be delivering parts between our three Dartmouth locations (Dartmouth, Dartmouth Crossing, and Higney), ensuring quick and safe transportation. If you enjoy driving, staying organized, and being on the move, this might be the perfect fit for you!APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • At least 2+ years of driving experience.
  • The ability to operate a vehicle with a trailer is an asset.
  • Previous delivery or automotive experience is an asset (not required).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
JOB TASKS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pick up and deliver automotive parts between our locations.
  • Occasionally source materials or shuttle employees as needed.
  • Transport equipment for repairs
  • Load and unload the delivery vehicle, ensuring parts are safely secured.
  • Communicate effectively with body shop staff, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
