ControllerAre you a hands-on finance leader with a passion for construction and project-based accounting? We’re working with a well-established and growing company, looking to add an experienced Controller to their team.In this role, you’ll lead day-to-day accounting operations across multiple divisions, support budgeting and cash flow forecasting, manage financial reporting, and drive improvements in systems and processes. You’ll work closely with both finance and operational teams and report directly to the Finance Head.What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee accounting functions including payroll, AP/AR, and general ledger
  • Manage monthly and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with ASPE, tax remittances, and regulatory filings
  • Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Collaborate on job costing, WIP reporting, and project margin reviews
  • Drive system improvements (Vista by Viewpoint) and internal controls
  • Support and mentor junior accounting staff
What We’re Looking For:
  • CPA designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • 7+ years of accounting experience (construction/project-based preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE and multi-entity accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (Vista by Viewpoint is a plus)
  • Strong communicator and problem-solver
