- Supervise project accounting for multiple initiatives ranging from $5M to $120M, including general contracting, infrastructure, and bridge projects.
- Prepare and manage month-end reporting packages, including reconciliations and detailed management reports.
- Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow management, ensuring efficient financial operations.
- Handle government remittances and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with the VP of Finance on budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties, including banks and auditors, to support financial negotiations and compliance.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage financial operations across multiple entities, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Guide and mentor team members, fostering growth and expanding the team as needed.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including project accounting and intercompany transactions.
- Proven expertise in managing budget processes and financial planning activities.
- Proficiency in preparing month-end close reports and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle treasury functions such as cash flow management.
- Experience with compliance requirements, including government remittances and audits.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
