Your efforts will support the expansion and evolution of enterprise data risk reporting and insights. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data risk metrics, including defining calculation details, articulating the intent and rationale for inclusion, identifying thresholds, and designing visual presentations for reporting. This encompasses the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to monitor the ongoing adoption and effectiveness of data policies, standards, procedures, controls, and data risk identification and mitigation outcomes. Additionally, you will lead the technical implementation of metrics using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and other visualization and ETL platforms, building dashboards, automating data flows, and integrating metrics into enterprise reporting solutions.You will oversee the Business As Usual (BAU) reporting of metrics and insights to executive audiences, including the Executive Data Councils and the CIBC Board. Your responsibilities will also include developing and triggering oversight processes in the event of metric breaches or threshold exceptions, ensuring timely escalation and response. Periodic reviews of the relevance and effectiveness of metrics and their thresholds will be required to ensure KPIs and KRIs remain aligned with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with stakeholders across Business Units, within the Chief Data Office, and with Enterprise Technology partners will be essential to develop, implement, and manage these metrics and support the creation of automated reporting solutions.
