
Instructor, Practical Nurse (casual)

- Provide quality instruction in lab and/or clinical courses.
- Select effective instructional strategies and create lesson plans to support diverse learner needs.
- Support curriculum development and ensure course content remains current and relevant.
- Evaluate learner performance and provide clear feedback to support growth and progress.
- Facilitate positive learning experiences across face-to-face, blended, online, and clinical settings.
- Support learners in navigating challenges, accommodations, and access to student services.
- Participate in college and program events, including orientations, graduations, and community outreach.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with health care stakeholders, employers, and advisory groups.
- Diploma in Nursing (LPN or RN).
- Current, unrestricted CLPNA or CARNA Practice Permit.
- At least 4 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- CPR Health Care Provider Level certification.
- Up-to-date immunizations and a Police Information Check (vulnerable sector included).
- Ability to teach to full scope of practice in compliance with government requirements for Practical Nurse facilitators.
