- Provide strategic leadership to parts, service, body shop and general managers
- Conduct monthly financial meetings with dealership teams in conjunction with the regional manager
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, goals and objectives for each dealership fixed operations departments and monitoring the department's performance
- Work directly with department managers to identify areas of opportunity within each dealership and provide expertise and guidance to assist them in meeting their objectives
- Assist General Managers in continuously interviewing and recruiting quality candidates to be referred to the Group's various dealerships for potential new hires
- Assist in training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all the dealerships service and parts department staff
- Work closely with the department managers to align individual dealership objectives with the group's policies and goals
- Consult with dealership to increase the fixed operations overall customer retention and profitability and identify follow-up or action items for next contact
- Focus one's efforts on evaluating the parts department inventory management processes to eliminate waste, increase parts loyalty and profitability and improve efficiencies
- Collaborate with corporate teams on both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Must have at least 5 years of automotive dealership management experience
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships
- Knowledge of Car Parts and Service Systems
- Understanding Metrics and Reports
- Basic knowledge of the dealer operating report and fixed analysis tools
- Basic knowledge of dealership profit departments structure and interconnectivity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Ability to manage stress and work with tight deadlines
- Highly self motivated and directed
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record
