- Supports and maintains PC operations including the diagnosis of hardware or software failure.
- Global Technology support for multiple sites in region.
- Assists Corporate IT with diagnosing and resolving network and server issues.
- Communicates local requirements that must be met and assist in the delivery of the final solution.
- Maintains hardware and software in compliance with corporate standards.
- Acts as the liaison with vendors to repair or replace hardware.
- Supports help-desk function for internal and remote users.
- Reviews, selects, and recommends equipment and software that may be required in the lab space.
- Some University education in an Applied Science or a related discipline plus generally two years of directly related experience.
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of computer systems including network infrastructure and servers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrated high level organizational and multi-tasking skills in a technical environment.
