Powered by teams who love people, connection, growth and challenge.The OpportunityAs the Human Resources Manager, you’ll join a small core team supporting a broader Support Centre hub model for a large, multi-site operations portfolio spanning hotels, restaurants, and resorts. You’ll partner closely with leaders and HR colleagues to deliver timely, practical HR support, strengthen program execution and enable consistent people practices so operational HR teams can stay focused on the work that most directly drives the business and the employee experience.This role offers the chance to deepen your practice in a centre of excellence environment while building strong local relationships. You’ll provide direct support to internal stakeholders and help equip HR partners embedded in the business by maintaining clear tools, templates and guidance.What you’ll do:
  • Support Centre hub support: Deliver day to day HR partnership within the Support Centre, ensuring timely, practical and consistent support.
  • Performance management systems: Support consistent adoption of performance practices including goal setting, documentation, development planning.
  • Compensation & Job Data Administration: Promote consistent use of compensation and job data processes; monitor data quality and completion, and maintain accurate employee and organizational information. Partner with leaders to submit and manage updates across HR systems and documentation, and refresh job/compensation data as market conditions and internal requirements evolve.
  • Employee relations (ER): Provide day to day ER guidance and support documentation; escalate complex matters and formal discipline decisions as required.
  • Culture & Engagement: Support engagement initiatives, recognition programs and feedback mechanism to strengthen employee experience.
  • Talent lifecycle systems leadership and operational support: Support ongoing improvements to hiring, onboarding, internal movement and offboarding processes by maintaining tools, templates, and documentation and coordinating with key partners.
  • Policy & Compliance: Maintain strong governance and documentation; ensure practices align with applicable legislation and internal standards.
  • HR Operations & Analytics: Maintain HRIS and ticket/intake processes, ensure data accuracy and timely routing, and produce trend reports to support team priorities.
What you bring:
  • 5-8 years in progressive HR experience, ideally in multi-site, operational environments and or multi jurisdiction portfolios.
  • Demonstrated strength in performance management (systems, leader coaching, documentation discipline, system optimization and sustained execution).
  • CHRP/CPHR (or equivalent) strongly preferred, plus relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment practices and nice to have US exposure.
  • Proven stakeholder alignment capability; able to build trust, influence effectively and handle sensitive matters with sound judgement and confidentiality.
  • Strong change management skills, with experience rolling out processes/tools and improving adoption through clear communication, training and leader enablement.
  • HRIS proficiency required (Dayforce is an asset).
  • Experience navigating complex group benefits and partnering with brokers/insurers.
  • Strong analytics, accuracy and problem solving; able to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly.
  • High discretion and compliance with privacy and data protection laws.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, deadlines matter and follow through is essential.
  • Experience building or operating within a Shared Services/People Hub model (intake, triage, SLAs, templates, knowledge base).
