- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality technicians to support production, new product introductions, and ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
- Cultivate a culture of quality compliance and accountability throughout all manufacturing areas.
- Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to CORE methodologies and operating systems, including key performance indicators (KPIs) related to People, Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
- Manage internal and external audits, as well as customer inspections, ensuring organizational readiness and timely closure of any findings.
- Drive effective root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using CORE problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with contractual quality clauses.
- Maintain and enhance Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection procedures.

- Exhibit strong leadership by guiding teams through change, fostering collaboration, and driving performance excellence.
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of leading quality initiatives on the shop floor.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience, including direct people management, hiring, coaching, and performance development.
- Deep understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100, with familiarity in aerospace and defense regulatory standards.
- Hands-on experience with Operational Excellence frameworks (e.g., CORE) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Inspiring leadership style with a focus on mentorship, accountability, and team development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to resolving complex manufacturing quality issues.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to align team objectives with organizational strategy.
- Advanced analytical and statistical skills, with expertise in interpreting complex data to drive informed, risk-based decisions.
- Thorough knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulatory compliance, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with ERP and QMS systems is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
