With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring 310T Licensed Mechanics at our shop in Vittoria, ON.ABOUT USScotlynn is a premier transportation and farming company that specializes in hauling time-sensitive, refrigerated produce with the use of state-of-the-art equipment. With an initial focus on hauling fresh produce, we understand the importance of communication and the service level required for perishable shipments. We have over 5,000 acres of farmland, 600+ pieces of farm equipment, and a large fleet of trucks hauling refrigerated trailers.WHAT WE OFFER

THE ROLELicensed Technicians are responsible for inspecting vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment, performing repairs, assisting in inventory tracking, communicating with drivers and shop admin, and upholding safety standards. Integrity, communication, and passion are essential to this role.ABOUT YOU
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products
  • Own tools required
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
  • Service compliance with MTO regulations

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
  • Review maintenance schedule and work orders
  • Diagnostic, service and preventative maintenance of storage and equipment/machinery
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to performance specifications
  • Engine and warranty work
  • Provide clear communication and excellent customer service skills to drivers and customers in a team environment
YOUR COMMITMENT
  • This is a full-time, permanent role
  • Straight days
  • Two-week rotating schedule - Week 1: Monday – Friday 6am – 5pm, Saturday 6am – 12pm, Week 2: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm
