- Overseeing the daily operations of multiple branches by implementing and following all company policies and procedures to ensure all services and operational standards are met
- Managing your current team and talent and determining staffing requirements based on business needs to ensure Roofmart is providing the most efficient solutions and world class customer service.
- Coaching, training, and mentoring your team
- Ensuring branches comply with company policies, procedures and legislative safety requirements
- Reviewing inventory for your locations by way of cycle counts and stock variances
- Ensuring orders are properly processed for required materials for day-to-day business as well as special projects and working with suppliers to resolve any issues or returns
- Playing an essential role in the maintenance and operations of warehousing tasks and responsibilities
- Ensuring equipment inspections and maintenance are maintained
- Identifying and managing all opportunities to create an efficient and effective operation while ensuring your team is safe and productive and your customers receive a high-caliber, quality experience
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing/Human Resources preferred) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/retail management, sales experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to travel
