You won't find an assurance culture like this anywhere else, so whether you're looking for a long-term, or are interested in progressing on to other areas, this is a great place to be.The opportunityWe are presently looking for an experienced English-French legal translator-revisor.Your key responsibilities:As a member of EY's Translation Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality translation services to both internal and external clients.Main tasks will include:
  • Receiving internal translation requests and communicating with clients
  • Assigning work to team members
  • Translating and revising from English into French
  • Managing several assignments and priorities at the same time
  • Making terminology research
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
Skills and attributes for success:Be able to occasionally work under pressure, within a dynamic team of versatile professionalsTo qualify for the role you must have:
  • Hold a university degree in Translation at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in translation and revision in a structured and supervised professional environment
  • Be able to occasionally work under close time constraints, with a dedicated team of flexible and versatile professionals
  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role
Ideally, you:
  • Are a member of OTTIAQ (other professional orders, such as Barreau or CPA, will be taken into consideration)
  • Have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
