Workflows have already been identified and scoped; your job is to build them well and ship them quickly. You live and breathe agentic AI. You've built systems where AI models don't just respond to a single prompt; they reason, plan, use tools, and execute multi-step workflows autonomously. You know the platforms, the patterns, and the pitfalls. And you know how to take a defined requirement and turn it into a reliable, production-ready agentic solution with minimal hand-holding.The specific platforms you've used matter less than your depth of understanding. Whether you've built in n8n, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or something else entirely, what we care about is that you deeply understand how agentic systems work and can build them well. This is a hybrid role, based in the Vancouver, BC area. The ideal candidates will work 2 days in the Vancouver office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. What You’ll Do
  • Design and build agentic AI workflows: multi-step, tool-using, autonomous pipelines that handle real business processes end-to-end.
  • Architect multi-agent systems where needed, orchestrating specialized agents, managing state and memory, and building appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • Integrate frontier AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, etc.) into agentic workflows, leveraging function calling, structured outputs, and tool use effectively.
  • Build and extend RPA flows using Microsoft Power Automate where traditional task automation is the right fit and connect them into broader agentic pipelines where it adds value.
  • Choose the right tool for each job. You're not locked into any single platform and can move fluidly across the agentic AI and automation stack.
  • Write clean, maintainable automations with proper error handling, logging, and documentation so your work doesn't become someone else's headache.
  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering to ensure your automations are secure, compliant, and properly integrated with our existing systems.
Who You AreAgentic AI: The Core Requirement
  • Proven, hands-on experience building agentic AI systems in production - not demos, not tutorials, but real workflows running in a live environment.
  • Deep understanding of agentic patterns: React loops, tool use, memory management (short-term and long-term), agent orchestration, and multi-agent coordination.
  • Experience with one or more agentic build platforms such as n8n, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Mastra, Flowise, or Temporal. We care about depth of understanding, not which platform it was.
  • Ability to evaluate and select the right agentic platform for a given use case, and a willingness to learn new ones quickly.
  • Strong grasp of prompt engineering for agentic contexts: system design, chain-of-thought, structured outputs, and function/tool calling.
Frontier AI Model Experience
  • Hands-on experience with frontier AI model APIs including OpenAI (GPT-5), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), Meta (Llama), and/or others.
  • Ability to select the right model for the task, knowing when a frontier model is warranted vs. when a smaller, faster, or cheaper model gets the job done.
  • Understanding of cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs across models in a production setting.
Automation and RPA
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (cloud flows and/or desktop flows).
  • Familiarity with connecting RPA automation into broader AI-powered pipelines.
Technical Breadth
  • Confident with Python for scripting, API integration, and building automation tooling; JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows to connect disparate systems.
  • Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and document intelligence for knowledge-intensive automation use cases.
  • Experience integrating with platforms common in e-commerce and operations environments (ERPs, CRMs, data warehouses, or marketplace APIs) is an asset.
Ways of Working
  • A strong bias toward execution. You don't over-engineer, you don't wait for perfect requirements, and you know when something is good enough to ship.
  • Comfortable working from a fast-paced backlog, context-switching across projects, managing your own delivery, and flagging blockers early without needing close oversight.
  • Clear and direct written communicator who can document what you built so others can maintain and extend it.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or building custom tools and integration for AI agents.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar low-code AI assistant builders.
  • Familiarity with process mining tools such as Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or Power Automate Process Advisor
  • Background in e-commerce, furniture retail, or marketplace operations.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
