Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team. You'll design, build, and maintain scalable applications across our full technology stack, working with modern frameworks and cloud-native infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, influence technical direction, and take ownership of complex projects from conception through production.What will you do?Develop and optimize full-stack applications using React for frontend experiences, with Node.js and Python for backend services.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (product, architecture, security) to translate requirements into scalable solutionsBeyond these core technologies, you'll evaluate and integrate new tools as business needs evolve.Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code; conducting code reviews; participating in architecture discussions;Collaborating cross-functionally with product and design teams; and ensuring applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.Contribute to documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and help establish engineering best practices.What you need to succeed?Must Have:3+ years of software development experiencePolyglot programming expertise (JavaScript, Python, HTML5/CSS, Shell scripts)Expert-level full-stack development (React/HTML5, Node.js/Python, microservices)Strong fundamentals: AI, agent, MCP server/client, microservices, OAuth2, PostgreSQL, OOP, design patterns, securityDemonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teamsExperience influencing technical decisions and owning solution architectureAbility to work in a fast paced and agile development environmentNice to Have:Cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure)DevOps expertise (GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes)Test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline optimizationExperience with agile transformation or process improvementAI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code)What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
