Airbus vous accompagnera pour trouver le poste qui correspond le mieux à vos compétences et aspirations.**English version**The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Operational Officer to join our A220 Procurement Cabin team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the BFE managers team and the logistics team to secure the on-time and quality delivery of BFE parts.You will be part of a team responsible for developing BFE equipment in coordination with suppliers and airlines.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.Your role as the operational manager for BFE parts will consist of keeping the lists of these parts, which customers must order directly from suppliers, up to date and then disseminating them to the airlines.You will work closely with logistics teams and airlines to proactively anticipate any risk of late delivery of these parts. Your mission will include contributing to the definition of effective mitigation solutions to minimize potential impacts on the final assembly line.Your working environment:

Known for its peaceful and safe environment, the region offers a high quality of life for younger or experienced professionals and families, perfectly balancing career opportunities and outdoor activities that makes it a truly special place to call home.How we care for you:Financial rewards: Attractive salary, annual bonus, group insurance plan, pension plan and share purchase plan.Work / Life Balance: A hybrid working policy, on-site cafeterias and a highly competitive holiday policy.Wellbeing/Health: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Program, on-site Medical Service, free shuttle service between Montreal and Mirabel and carpooling application.Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10.000 e-learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.Your challenges:Customer Relationship and Data Management:Establish and maintain trusting relationships with airlines regarding the management of their parts.Analyze data provided by internal departments to identify and correct inconsistencies before transmission to customers.Update and communicate BFE parts lists to customers in line with parts supply deadlines.Confirm the good receipt of the parts to the CustomersLogistics Coordination and Risk Management:Collaborate closely with the logistics team to anticipate delivery delay risks and develop mitigation measures.Provide support to the logistics team in closing non-conformities.Manage escalations from the assembly line related to delivery delays that could directly compromise the production chain.Continuous Improvement:Actively participate in local and transnational improvement projects.Your boarding pass:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3 to 5 years of experience required in the field of logistics.Strategic Stakeholder Management and Negotiation:Manage customer expectations and proactively communicate BFE delivery status.Coordinate effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality).Negotiate strongly with suppliers to prioritize critical BFE deliveries, justifying A220 production line impact.Data Analysis and Factual Decision-Making:Analyze complex data (ERP, dashboards) to identify trends/bottlenecks.Propose data-driven corrective/preventive actions for performance optimization.Leadership and Problem Solving Under Pressure:Strong leadership to motivate teams and suppliers.Quickly find creative, effective solutions in crises or under tight deadlines, maintaining quality.Travel Required:
