A major oil and gas company is looking for a Plant Operator for their facility outside of Grande Prairie. The position runs on a 28 day rotation and MUST be local to the Grande Prairie area. A minimum of 2 years experience is required in a natural gas plant setting, but more is preferred.Other Requirements Include:
  • Minimum of a 4th class power engineering certification
  • Preference will be given to candidates setup as a contract operator with their own limited company
  • Must be a team player with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Be self –motivated, open-minded and results oriented.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and handle issues as they arise.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and safety tickets (First Aid, H2S Alive)
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
