You will keep all mechanical mobile equipment used in construction, mining, and site operations safe, reliable, and compliant with all Health & Safety policies and regulations. Your work enables safe production, reduces downtime, and supports critical site operations.As part of our team you will
- Inspect bulldozers, cranes, graders, haul trucks, drills, scoops, and other heavy or underground equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose issues using computerized and manual testing tools to determine required repairs.
- Adjust, repair, or replace components, systems, and parts using hand and power tools.
- Test equipment after repair to confirm performance meets manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Service attachments and working tools such as blades, ploughs, winches, and side booms.
- Complete equipment repairs underground (respirator/fit test required; clean‑shaven).
- Participate in site‑specific training and support additional tasks required at Brucejack.
- Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic (Technician).
- Experience maintaining diesel and gasoline mobile or stationary equipment; underground experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license or higher.
- WHMIS and TDG certifications are assets.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and sustain performance during 12‑hour shifts.
- Ability to pass mandatory medical, drug/alcohol, and background checks.
- Ability to work at a remote camp on a 13/2/13 rotation.
You will work in a remote, camp‑based mining environment on a rotational schedule, performing maintenance both in surface facilities and underground conditions. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
