We are WSP.The OpportunityShape Something Different - As a CAD Technician in our Drafting and Design Team, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality 2D and 3D designs for projects that shape communities locally and globally. You'll work in a flexible environment, leveraging cutting-edge tools and workflows to support engineering and design excellence.Your Impact
- Provide technical 2D drafting and 3D modeling for a wide range of projects using AutoDesk Civil 3D.
- Prepare engineering drawings for conceptual, tender, and construction packages.
- Develop existing condition models from topographic surveys, aerial drone data, and satellite imagery.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to global standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and consultants to incorporate project requirements into design deliverables.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior CAD technicians to foster team growth.
- Diploma or degree in Environmental, Geotechnical, Mining, or Civil Engineering technology (or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting and design using AutoDesk Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, design processes, and global standards.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a collaborative environment.
