GSK is looking to hire a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), National Pipeline Hematology to join our Oncology/Hematology Team. This role is field-based with hybrid flexibility and reports directly to the Senior MSL Manager. This position has a national scope.As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will be responsible for building trusted peer-to-peer scientific relationships with hematology specialists and other healthcare professionals, sharing clear and balanced evidence-based information, and collecting clinical insights that shape pipeline medical strategy and research. You will act as a field-based scientific expert, supporting clinical development activities and collaborating closely with medical, clinical, commercial, and research colleagues to deliver local impact. Your ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly, work collaboratively, and operate independently in a field-based environment will be critical to success. Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Advanced post-graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD).Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiences.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionallyKnowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, including hospital systems and access pathways.Valid Canadian driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory (up to 60–70%).Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet objectives in a field-based role.Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, ideally in HematologyEstablished network and relationships with oncology clinicians in CanadaExperience supporting clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, or real-world evidence projectsFamiliarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processesBilingual capability in English and French for bilingual territoriesStrong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills***This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. The annual compensation for this role is CAD129,000 to CAD179,000 , determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
