
Integration Engineer

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and distributed solution architectures across cloud and enterprise platforms.
- Drive innovation through the use of agentic platforms, developing new methods, and adapting capabilities that deliver high-impact user experiences.
- Ensure all solutions align with organizational cybersecurity strategies, PII standards, data residency requirements, and best practices.
- Actively experiment and continuously learn as new AI capabilities emerge, sharing insights and opportunities amongst the solutions team.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using tools like Azure Event Grid, Service Bus, and AWS EventBridge.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and webhooks to enable real-time data exchange between systems.
- Ensure interoperability across platforms, including Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
- Build and maintain automated workflows using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Autonomous Process Automation (APA) tools like Azure Power Automate and Automation Anywhere.
- Integrate AI agents and Copilot experiences into business processes to streamline agent workflows and citizen interactions.
- Leverage Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, AWS Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Durable functions for orchestration.
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate Generative AI capabilities into citizen-facing and agent-assist solutions.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize interactions with Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, and Copilot APIs.
- Support the deployment of AI models via Azure AI Foundry (MO1) (EI2) (MW3) and monitor their performance and usage.
- Deploy and manage integration components in Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for integration services using Azure DevOps (MO4) (EI5) , GitHub Actions, and ServiceNow DevOps.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and observable integration patterns across environments.
- Maintain documentation and reusable integration patterns aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide thought leadership across cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI, DevOps, CRM, and Knowledge Management.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ITIL-based service operations. Guide solution development from concept to launch, including support for organizational change management and adoption strategies
- Strong proficiency in API design, event-driven systems, and cloud-native integration patterns.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS services for solutioning including messaging, automation, and compute environments.
- Hands-on experience with RPA/APA tools, Copilot APIs, orchestration technology, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and semantic orchestration frameworks (e.g., Semantic Kernel).
- Working knowledge of ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI integration, and AWS AI Services is preferred.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- A University Degree or Diploma in the field of Computer Science, related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of experience in solution development, integration engineering, software development, or platform engineering.
- Experience working within CI/CD pipelines including DepOps workflows and Agile development methodology in Github Actions, DevOps and Service Now.
- Experience with Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or ServiceNow is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain Canadian Federal Reliability of Clearance
