This opportunity is ideal for someone with a sales background in controls and building automation systems. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of HVAC system design and controls, ideally with experience in both service and construction environments.This is a position that comes with a salary, and additional compensation, targeting the $120,000-$140,000 range.Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with key industry professionals—engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and building owners—to expand business and meet strategic goals
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts and source net new business.
- Understand customer requirements, to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Recommend retrofit solutions and product alternatives to address specific client needs, including system startups and modifications
- Contribute to the rollout of new products and services within the market
- Offer guidance to contractors and assist in preparing project quotes
- Stay informed on industry regulations, codes, and market developments to ensure compliance and identify growth opportunities
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal and professional development
- Engage in self-learning and participate in factory visits or manufacturer training to stay current on new products and software tools
- Participate in team meetings and relevant industry events (e.g., SMACNA, MCA, VRCA)
