Compensation: $140-160K base + bonusAbout Our ClientOur client is building and scaling some of the most exciting brands in the clean beauty and wellness space.They are looking for a Brand Director who doesnât just manage brands, but builds them. This is a true ownership role where you will shape brand strategy, lead innovation, and drive commercial performance in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.This opportunity is best suited for someone who is personally connected to the clean living lifestyle. Someone who understands todayâs ingredient-conscious, values-driven consumer and can translate that into relevant, trend-forward products and campaigns.Youâll have the autonomy to make decisions, the cross-functional support to execute, and the expectation to think like a general manager of the brand; balancing creativity, data, and business performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the brandâs long-term vision, positioning, and growth strategy
- Own the full brand lifecycleâfrom insight and innovation through launch and in-market performance
- Lead the innovation pipeline, including white space identification, concept development, pricing, and commercialization
- Translate strategy into 360° marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, retail, and eCommerce
- Partner with Sales and eCommerce teams on retail strategy, promotions, and channel execution
- Build compelling retailer presentations to support product launches and brand growth
- Leverage data (Nielsen, IRI, POS, and eCommerce/Amazon analytics) to inform strategy and optimize performance
- Monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and develop team members while influencing cross-functional partners
- 8+ years of progressive experience in brand management within CPG, beauty, or personal care
- Direct experience in clean beauty, natural wellness, or sustainable consumer products strongly preferred
- A genuine connection to the clean living lifestyle and consumer mindset
- Proven ownership of a brand end-to-end (strategy, innovation, launch, and performance)
- Strong understanding of North American retail (mass, drug, specialty, and/or eCommerce)
- Experience working with Amazon and/or digital-first growth channels
- Experience leading new product innovation using structured stage-gate processes
- Highly data-driven, with experience using consumer and retail analytics to guide decisions
- Demonstrated ability to build trend-forward, culturally relevant brands
- Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally across product, sales, creative, and operations
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is an asset)
