- Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead brand evolution and market positioning initiatives for parent company “Zanchin” brand as well as children company’s “dealerships”.
- Provide strategic counsel to Marketing Team and senior leadership on market trends and opportunities.
- Oversee digital marketing channels including SEO/SEM, email social media, online advertising, contact strategy and website performance.
- Leverage data analytics to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and report performance metrics.
- Implement CRM strategies to improve engagement and retention.
- Guide the development of creative assets, including promotional campaigns, multimedia content, and dealership specific materials.
- Oversee traditional marketing such as print, radio, television advertising, sponsorships and event marketing.
- Ensure Brand consistency across all channels.
- Team of Zanchin Marketing Strategists will report directly to Director of Marketing including 6 strategists, 2 videographers, and 2 digital campaign managers.
- Director will manage, mentor and build a high performing marketing team.
- Ensure team is serving best practices to dealerships and OEM campaigns are aligned each month while dealership identity is maintained.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture across internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
- Partner with sales, service, parts, finance, operations and IT and HR to ensure cohesive marketing execution and ROI
- Manage external agencies, consultants and vendor relationships to support strategy
- Negotiate group rates for vendors to implement across all dealership roof tops.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Administration, Communications or related field from a recognized Canadian College or University.
- Master’s degree in marketing or MBA (asset not essential)
- Professional certification in Marketing or Digital Marketing certification eg: Google Analytics, Digital Marketing Institute.
- 10 + years of progressive marketing experience preferably in automotive, retail or multi – location consumer businesses.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
- Proven success driving ROI focused brand building
- Exceptional strategic planning, analytical and communication skills
- Strong understanding of digital Marketing tools, data analytics and marketing automation.
- Experience maintaining budgets
